I met Donna Reyna Sessler at the NewLife Expo last October, where Donna's booth stood out with the divine light her jewelry emanates. I was overwhelmed with joy and light emanating from her jewelry, and after I met Donna Reyna in person, I had no doubt, she is a true channel for the spiritual meaning for her jewelry. I had bought a few pieces that night and the next day I came back for more. Since I met Donna Reyna, I felt close to her and her designs in her spiritual jewelry, inspiring, creating focus, love and positive emotions assisting me, and now many of my clients, to achieve what they desire. Cleansing and Programming Your Gem Stone JewelryCleaning and Cleansing the Crystals before Wearing Clean the crystal of dust, dirt and debris by physically washing and cleaning it. This will ensure that crystals are ready electromagnetically. Do not use and harsh abrasives on your crystals. Wipe it carefully and then let your crystal lay in the sunshine for a few days if this is possible. You must only do cleansing if you feel comfortable with it, none of these procedures described here are mandatory for a beautiful crystal to shine, however, it is necessary to take precautions for a successful working with the crystal and its metaphysical purposes. Once you have cleaned the crystal physically, the next step is to cleanse the crystal of unwanted vibrations and energies that come from other people handling the crystals during its mining, working with it, packing, transportation, unpacking and display before it has actually reached you. Crystals take in and absorb the energy of the environment regardless of our will and you will be able to feel this energy in the crystal. Instead of wearing it right away, alike wearing other people’s clothes, cleanse it before wearing it. Some crystals are sensitive to salt baths and it is not advisable to bury them in salt. Instead use smudging or bury them in earth (your windowsill plants pots would be a good place to leave them in for a few days). Smudging can be done with sage, sweet grass or frankincense to cleanse your crystals. This is especially good for crystals that cannot be soaked in salt water. Don't forget to give yourself and your room a good smudge to clear your own negative energies. Charging Charge your crystals by leaving them in the direct sunlight to saturate them with ultraviolet light. It is believed that when the crystal is harvested from the Earth, it is has been nurtured in yin (feminine, moonlight) energy. It is removed from the yin energies and needs now to receive yang (masculine, sunlight) energies as its source of energy is rebalanced and renewed. Leave the crystal in direct sunlight after each time you wear it. Activate your crystal through an initiation of your preference, or a ritual, by holding it in your hand and rolling it in your hands and drawing symbols into it. Programming Each crystal carries its individual program, which comes with the crystal structure and qualities of the mineral. Wearing different crystals singularly or in various combinations with other crystals enhances properties of your crystal and creates powerful sequences of helpful connections with the Universe. In addition, crystals are able to carry special programming (a set of instructions) “put” in them by you, or even before we acquire the crystals and we need to remove other people’s energies before we wear our crystals and re-program them for our purposes. Each crystal is like a computer with a database in which we put in the programming. Generally, we program all crystals for Peace, Love, and Prosperity. You can add your own programming, with your specific purpose, like Protection, or Enhancing dreams, or Positive Abundance, or Help with Decisions. Crystals can hold as many programs as there are sides to them. So be careful of your unconscious programming (watch what you think when programming the crystal). If you feel overwhelmed by unwanted thoughts, put the crystal down and clear your mind. You can put as many thoughts, affirmations, symbols, or wishes into your crystal. So the crystal serves positive energies, use you positive Intent to create only positive energies around you and do not work with the crystal when you are upset or angry.
